Looking for Mod-friendly Dealers around Chicagoland.
It's for warranty work. Our former dealer in Crystal Lake no longer sells Mitsu, therefore, they can no longer provide warranty repair service. I did a search, but came up with nothing.
So Crystal Lake Mitsu dropped their dealership? I talked to them 6-8 weeks ago and at that point they were still expecting to sell 05's. Strange.
The guys up in Libertyville claim that they look the other way. That said I haven't used these people except to source OEM parts.

I need to take it in for the fan recall as well. I need to know as well and I'm willing to drive to libertyville if that's the case. I have BR s4 setup with no cat and don't need any hassle from them. I know my drivetrain warranty is probably void but I want them to check the rattling crap in the car. I hope that is not void as well.
I haven't tested this, but Don Jacobs in Milwaukee, WI says they are mod-friendly. I hope to not have to test this. I don't know if this is too far of a drive for you, but might be worth a look. In fact, my car from Don Jacobs came with Evo 7 tailights, AMS exhaust, carbon e-brake, Mitsu-aluminum shifter and pedals.

i've been to libertyville as well. i've never had warranty work done, but i have purchased parts from them. they are VERY helpful/nice/cool. they also distribute RMR products. i actually purchased an RMR intake from them a while ago. they never mentioned anything about the warranty. they seem really cool. i dont know i guess the best thing to do would be to go there and talk to them in person. definately dont call...... its just better in person if you ask me.

hmmm.... yeah i dont think i saw anything actually on display. on RMR's website, they have them listed as a distributor. thats how i knew where to order my intake from locally.
the mitsu my by house ( indiana ) sells rmr products as well... the thing is, its like a 25% markup.... we can get better prices off the rmr website...
the place that changed my fan controller was quick... the didn't mention the cat-back exhaust, high-flow cat, or the SRI... idk
