I am in need of tranny service, I have been since a week after I got my EVO way back in 2003. 2nd gear has always been grinding, a year later 5th gear started, and over the past summer...4th started too. I tried contacting someone I knew worked at a mod friendly dealer to make sure they still are mod friendly...but I've gotten no response back.

What I need are some recomendations on mod friendly dealers in the IL/WI border area. Ones that are cool to deal with and will work with me on this servicing I need. Also I need to confirm that mitsu is aware of the 2nd, 4th, and 5th gear issues and DOES have the new "stonger" gears out finally that was in a recent post in the Turbo Trix section of this board. Yes I know there is a TSB out for 5th, but not sure on 2nd and 4th.

Any help would be appreciated. The dealer I got my car from is not trust worthy and does EXTEAMLY poor service!
