Omaha/KC Dynoflash!
I am interested for sure. Would the dyno time at Dieman Motorsports be included with Al's custom tune? Plus getting together with other Evo owners would be great. I have met only one other Evo owner in KC. I'd like to get a EvoClub together possibly as well.

We should try and hook up sometime. Actually, all of the Omaha/Lincoln guys need to have an EVO MEET!!! Wouldn't that be sweet?!?!?!?

BTW, I have Al's mail-in flash and it has been ROCK SOLID! It was a good boost over stock and I have had no complications with it at all. I am definitely ready for his custom tune.
Let's get a sound off for anyone interested in Al coming to KC (or Omaha).
I'm in-------> 1!

And, yes, Mike at Sublime is excellent, but don't expect a quick turnaround -- they take on too much work IMHO. HuskerEVO, can't we get Shiv instead?
Seriously, let's get the Big Zero crowd together sometime.

Yeah, it still needs a proper race alignment and to have all the gauges hooked back up, but that didn't stop Sublime from making it a last minute entrant in the car show. Ugh, I don't think they have any clue how long it takes to properly clean a car. No green beer for me last night. Anyhow, here are some picts I took this morning:

Now I have to leave work again to get the engine bay cleaned up.

I should be "In", as long as we're talking sometime in June or later. I PM'd kcevo to let him know.
speedomodel: It'll be good to have another Evo there! I looked at the entry list from last year when it was still up on the Porsche site, and there weren't any. I'm really looking forward to being able to push the Evo and see what it's really capable of. I'm trying to talk my boss into bringing out his Cadillac XLR, which as far as I can tell, you can probably just push a button and have it drive itself around the track.

-- Edit: Nevermind, found it. Qwest Center. And the General Lee and Cooter from Dukes of Hazzard will be there! Well worth the $13 gate fee right there!

Looking good James!
There are a few Evolutions here in Omaha now. I moved up from Lincoln in October, I drive a Blue by You Evolution, but you'll rarely see it right now as it's garaged. A DSM meet is coming up, I think it would be a great opportunity for us to meet up. Below are the details, I'll PM everyone I know on here that lives in Nebraska.
DSM MEET!!!
WHEN: April 2, 2005 (SATURDAY)
TIME: 1 PM to apporx. 3-5 PM
WHERE: Chalco Hills Rec Area/Wehrspann Lake
8901 S 154th St, 154th & Giles Rd Omaha, NE 68138 (Meeting Place)

OCCASION: Meet up at the Lake, then a cookout in the picnic area. After, spending some time to go over the rides and finally a cruise(T.B.A) The cruise will be something different and will just be a nice paced cruise to enjoy the awesome scenery that Nebraska has to offer! *sarcastic* Everyone will need to bring one item for the cookout and we can get that list going as soon as enough people respond. This meet is giving everyone plenty of time to get off work, and more importantly, get the DSMs/Mitsus up and running! Thanks and hope to see you all there. The DSM scene will be huge this upcoming season!

Woo hoo! I'll try and make it out there. I can bring whatever...
Did any of you guys make it to WoW to see speedo's car? It was beautiful... There were a ton of people admiring it and a few trying to figure out what it was...

I was there, and speedo's car looks terrific. Best looking car there in my opinion, but I'm a bit biased towards Evo's.
I saw he had the Energy bushing kit on his car. I need to ask him what he thinks of it since I'm thinking of doing the same thing.

Thanks for the compliments. I was really pleased with the way it looked, too. Still, I would have liked to have had the harness bar and harnesses installed. Any way, I ended up losing the "Euro Custom Class" to Metro's slammed RX-8 sissy-sled with 20" Chip Foose chrome rims, skinny 225 tires, and a Greddy turbo kit. I'm sure it needed that turbo just to turn over those boat anchors.
Seriously though, it was a pretty car, and when I talked to the owner, he said Metro just threw on the $3,000 rims for the show.
Nubby: I think the Energy Suspension bushings are an awesome modification. I nearly cried, though, when I saw how many hours they took to install. I also ended up having to bore out the rear sway-bar bushings since the Cusco bar is a millimeter larger in diameter than stock.
