dynoday St. Louis

I've got my turboback on and have had a custom flash, My evo feels much faster, I would like to get it dynoed, to see what it is doing.
Anyone interested in me setting up a dynoday at Axis in St. Louis

I'm installing N2O this weekend or next and I need to tune anyways when I do. Count me in if you can tell me where Axis is at. Sorry, but you know how us ppl on the other side of the bridge get fidgety when we have to cross the Missouri river... One of the weekends between the 2nd and 17th would be perfect. Actually the 16th or 17th would give me a chance to get the intake and tires on as well. Ebay's a b1tch these days...

Might be if I get EMS. If I did, I'd probably need more time - professional tuning time from Ron. Really don't know what I'm going to do at this point.

If nothing else, it's cool just to hang on and learn what people have done!

I should have the Nitrous in on the 9th unless something gets all f'd up with my installer. Do you want to do it the 10th or the 17th? I'm going to be out at Gateway on the 19th for grudge match with some guys I work with so I'd rather find out if the 75 shot's gonna be a problem before then! I'm down for either day (10 or 17 of April) if not I can go locally. I'd rather hang with a Mitsu crowd though! What do you guys think? Lucky04's around me and he has a 04 RA, I can give him a bump about this if you want. Let me know or just PM him direct about it. I've met him once and he seemed allright to me.

Man I wished I lived closer, I need to go back but everytime I go it just edges me in to spend more money on mods.

Boomn29, are you thinking about going with the AEM?

With Ron being so close, it'd probably be UTEC or nothing. Trying to decide whether I wanna sell the whole thing or not actually.

Well last I heard I had someone call him for reference and he was told not to buy the UTEC and to only go with the AEM. This came from Ron so you might want to talk to him again just to be sure. I think alot of the complaints he had was on Jeremy's car and how it reacted just not being able to get everything out of it.

When Jeremy's car ran the stock turbo with the UTEC I thought it ran D@mn Good as well so I don't know.

You've gotta realize how long ago that was, and what version of the firmware they were on at the time - probably like 1.3. I think version 1.7 might be out now? Anyways, lots newer is what I'm getting at.
Just my opinion, from talking to Jeremy too.

Ya very true. Wished he still had that car because he was the only one that I knew of that really put that to the test around here.

Ron was the only reason I sold my utec and bought an EMS. He told me that with cams and other bolt-ons I have it would be hard to tune. Also If I ever went further it might be hard to get simmilar numbers compared to the ems. He repeatly asked me if I had already gotten the utec becuase he didnt want me to waste my time. He basically said that turbo xs hasnt come as far with the software updates as with the wrx and thats why he wouldnt recommend using a utec on an evo. I'm not sure about the new 1.7 software but when I talked to him a month ago he definately didnt have anything good to say about using utecs on evo's.

Looks like 5 guys plus I can drag at least 1 if not 3 more guys from work there if we can figure out a date... I'm down for the 10 or 17th either one is fine. If it's after that I'll have to tune elsewhere on my own. So okay people, it's hands up time again. Does anyone else have a specific day they want to pull?
