Smokey if you look here again I was able to get down to 13.41 at the end of the day so getting better, but my 60 ft still needs some work (1.91). I will let you know if I get my car fixed this week and head up next weekend.

Evoisdream--my cams should arrive on Monday or Tuesday--I can't decide on the cam gears. The AEMs can be had pretty cheap--about$160--but several people have told me I don't really need them. I'd like to install the cams and then have my xede tuned by MAC in Parker. I am trying to decide whether this is something I should try to do on my own. I have a good bit of experience working on cars and bikes, but haven't done cams before. I also have access (on weekends) to a complete shop with lifts, etc. what cams and gears are you installing? Ever done it before?

bigmac: i dont think you need cam gears at all. David Buschur says that the stock ones are ok and there is no need for aftermarket ones. i currently have a Buschur Stage 4 car with 264 cams and safc. i have had no problems at all and had the car tuned at MAC and was able to produce 350whp 360tq on 91 octane. hope this helps!

Hey Allen, It was good to meet you and great time on your runs. espescially if it wasn't running as good as it could. I should have been a high 13, but I need to work on my 60 ft as well. a 1.9 is a lot better than either of us did at the beginning of the day. I wish I had a few more runs. Oh well. The season just started, and I think I will get a clutch next so I can safely launch and not have to worry about it. A clutch will definetley help.

Let me know the next time you go up on a weekend. That was a lot of fun and I would like to do it again. That Jet engine car was sick. I got video of it. DAMN.....that thing was loud and fast. It was nice meeting you and your fiance and friend. We will do it again sometime soon. Again great job on your run.

Kevin, was nice meeting you as well dude!! Yeah I think you would got it down to at least high 13's at the end of the day if you stayed. Yeah AL from dynoflash is supposed to be coming out here soon. You should look into getting a custom tune from him, I obviously need one badly!! Once again though nice meeting you. Oh and I will probably be going up to the Coy's deal on the 1st it's my B-day, so hopefully the car is running well by then. Talk to you soon.

I'm not sure if the car will be read by then. Kit was supposed to have been shipped Fri. We'll see. Worst case I'll go to check things out.
