Thumbs up

Went there for a visit today and ended up having my car dyno'd also, got tempted after seeing the numbers Gashero put down! Anyway, all I have to say is this shop is as professional as professional can be. They were courteous and very accomodating. So props to Performance Autowerks and you can guarantee I'll be spreading the word about this shop and their services. Bump for a great shop .

I also agreed. Dave Gilbert is very pleasant to deal with. It a great comfort to know you have this shop so close to home as oppose to the other shop in the area. He drives a totally stripped down evo for NASA and an intructors for other clubs. This guy will know how to tune your car for the track. Thanks Dave for your patient while I had to take forever to put in that 10.5. (should have let you install it but was I too impatient!!!)

Just curious but did you notice a difference with the 10.5 hotside? Any dyno numbers before and after? How long for the installment and was it difficult?

Thanks.

Gokou, the 10.5 placement is pretty straightforward. It is those darn nut and bolt that is a pain to break loose. I did struggle with the exhaust manifold but with a little muscle and crow bar i was able to get it off the head and the 9.8 hotside. You can make it easier buy removing the radiator and turbo. I decided not to do that since now you have to drain the oil line , radiator, ect. .But all in all I think it is easier than changing to lowering spring.
