we did a meet where we convoyed to loveland. thats not far from fort collins. i'd be up for that. can be a fun drive but a little traffiky.

 

Not to be rude... But this is a Springs meet. If you guys want to do something different I say set it up for a different day. As I had stated we also have other forums that will be showing up.

not to be rude back but this is a evo group hug. it doesn't matter where its held as long as it happens. i'm tired of driving to the springs since my gf went to college down there and just got back so i was always down there. that doesn't mean i won't go, it means i'll just drive faster

 

Well I know that Denver has meets ever Friday or Saturday night at 108th & Colorado I beleive. There is also a meet & eat every wednesday at a wings reasturant. Thats why I was setting up a meet in the Springs. Just to get the Springs ppl together, but I always welcome others.

 

The nice thing about a Springs meet is that there are several good drives on twisty roads that are close by, without the traffic you will see on the roads around Denver. Going out 115 to Florence or Bishop's Castle would be cool, as would a drive to Canon City, Skyline drive (or whatever it's called) and route 50 along the Arkansas, or through Woodland Park and out to Deckers--all great twisties, nice scenery, and usually not too crowded.

 

Yes true but that is not an EVO meet by any means, if any EVO's at all. THe point we are making is you are on a EVO board with guys that would like to get together with other EVO's. Not being rude at all either.

Anyways anyone that is interested in putting a Denver or Ft Collins meet together so we can ride in Just Dsm's ride LOL, let me know I would be willing to put something together. Track day would be cool, maybe Second Creek!!

 

THat is a great point Big Mac, I did enjoy the driving. But I don't know if it was worth the 300 miles of driving I did that day. But either way I will at least come to see some of you guys!

OK. So I have had some questions about the meet. So, I say do the Hooters thing again. Only reason, the parking issue. I can't think of anywhere else to go that will have enought parking for all of us. So We'll do:
What: Springs Meet
When: June 5th (Sunday) @ 12:00
Who: You!
Where: Hooters @ the Citadel Mall. Than a drive (Maybe the Woodland Park again)
Why: Cause you likes Hooters & Mountain Drives!!!
How: By Driving your car on I-25South respecting all posted speed limits. Ok! If you need to drive North, you can. LOL

The Hooters is accually inside/connected to the south side of the mall. When you make the right from Acadmey, go left onto Citadel and follow around the mall till you see the Hooters on the right.
Due to a large amount of ppl might be coming, accually plan on parking accross the street from the Hooters/Mall. There is a larger parking lot there. Just look fro my Evo.
