One of my potential business partners has been speaking with them. I believe they want to stay in the suspension business. I believe the intent is to get the tuning and engine work and send them the suspension work. Kind of a mutual agreement among shops.

Believe me, I will be in negotations with all kinds of people when I get home.

It would be freakin sweet if there was a Awd dyno tune shop in Cinci. I mean it only makes sense. I bet they would be slamed with jobs.

He's had a rough streak of people not liking him. Im sure he wont turn down the ability to make money. What kind of car and what's done to it? I might be able to help out with a tune but it wont be on a dyno.

Lol I dont get bored now that Im at TiC. Plus Im not the best tuner. It seems like every time I learn something new, all the upgrades change again and become more difficult. Lets just say I think ill miss my AEM EMS. Very easy to work with. When Paul gets back you should pick his brain. I would only know half of what I do if it wasnt for him.

Maybe we can pull your ROM sometime and I can show you a brief overview of how to tune.

I understand the basics. Like A/F tuning, timing, MIVEC makes me go crosseyed, scaling injectors I understand, boost with a MBC is easy, would like to know more about EBCS.. Im not trying to tune my car, I would just like to know how...... just because?

MIVEC is actually very simple once you get a good base table(s) built. In most cases the JDM MIVEC tables are great starting points. All that is usually needed is a little tweeking of the transitions areas. MIVEC mostly helps with coming onto and out of power. Once you are "in the power area" MIVEC can reamain for the most part maxed out.

I could go on forever on "tuning theory" but everyone has their own opinion.

Your best bet is to get on Amazon.com and look up Automotive Tuning books. There are several that you can get that will teach you an abundant amount of tuning theory and procedures. The only problem is, like Brad said, everything is constantly evolving so you have to keep reading to stay current on new tuninig findings.

I would ultimately like to be set up with tephramod. one map super lean for commuting, and the second for play time. hook it up to the intercooler spray switch. perfect.

how much i would be looking at for something like that.

I recently bought some 800cc DW injectors for a future turbo build. I forgot that there was a map from Cobb for these. I was just going to wait for upgraded turbo and cams before I put these in. Would there be any gains to put them in now and run the cob map. Now I don't have the upgraded fuel pump so I'm not sure if I can do this. The one I'm thinking about running would be the stage 2 sf intake on 93 pump gas with DW 800cc injectors and upgraded fuel pump. Possibly the lwg one cuz I'm having trouble with overboosting.

Don't put the injectors in now, just wait until you get the turbo. You won't benefit any from putting them in on stock turbo unless your going with an e85 tune.

Also, don't go with a 255, go with the new DW 301 pump or the new aeromotive.

I got an ETS manifold with a 38mm external wastegate bung thermal coated black if you want it... Cheap

Hey all.....it is good to be back on the forums. I got my pee pee slapped again by the mods. When will I ever learn?

As for the question about the injectors, you can put them in any time you choose and simply tune the car to run with them. 800cc isn't all that big (anymore) but a pump upgrade would be recommended as you don't want to go lean up top.

The larger injectors will allow you to safely run a little more boost up top. I ran 780CCs for years on just a 255 pump with no issues at all.

Everyone has their own theories though.
