Anybody from the Twin cities Metro?
Hi everyone,
I am newb here and would like to ask you guys a question, particularly Minnesotans in the metro area. I am trying to have some gauges and turbo timer installed at a shop called Propulshun Auto Sports located in St. Paul. I could not find any other shops that are willing to do aftermarket installations. Do you have any recommendations of other reliable shops? I am a little hesitant to have Propulshun shop do installations because a mechnic there told me that he would have to drill a hole on the oil pan to properly install the oil temperature gauge. I want to avoid drilling if all possible but he said it would be the safest way to install it. I don't know if he know what he is talking about.... Please help!! Any inputs are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi there! Two shops that I go to for different needs locally are SpeedLab in Hopkins (952-931-9595) and RS Motors in Burnsville (952-707-0100). The shop space that is now being used by Propulshun was occupied by RS Motors before Propulshun decided to take over that space last fall.
I know that both of these shops have done work on Evos. SpeedLab has an Evo as a shop car; RS Motors has an AWD dyno.

Speedlab
I also recommend Speedlab. The shop is clean, proffessional, knowledgable, and has great customer service. It's not like some shops in Minnesota that have unqualified, kids that aren't even in uniform breaking parts on your car. Go to Speedlab and tell Noah that Paulo sent you. He'll take care of you and your car. If you want credentials, take a look at his company evo and the trophies in his office. Good luck.

I'll second that. SpeedLab and RS Motors are both good choices.
