anyone thought about just purchasing a fender roller and a high quality heat gun? rolling yourself, ud at least take time and effort to complete and not rush thru it. where shops might still rush thru it to get it done. not saying IPS would, havent dealt with them yet. just saying in general. than u could just rent it out to fellow members and make up for the cost of purchasing one.

I don't recall exactly. If you think its high I would say it’s probably not by much.

I think their standard hourly rate is $86. They offer a 15% discount to Columbus Racing members so that brings it down to $73. Sounds like to me they are giving some sort of rate lower than their standard $86 and budgeting for 2 hours. Doesn’t seem too unfair. Might be able to ask them for the Columbus racing rate and question them about how long it takes to do a side, I suspect the lowest they will go is 45 minutes so you looking at 1.5 hours which would be $110.

In the end I realize you want the lowest/best price possible but at the same time I would sweat too much over $40 if know you are going to be happy with end result.

Yeah the price seems ok..it is the CR rate already...I was just curious if anything's changed since you had yours done since that was a while back...and panda...I feel like I would drop 250 only to buckle my fender...would be no bueno I've thought about it though and may got that route anyways..still got some time b4 it gets warm and my new shoes are mounted and balanced

Im just going to go to Turn In Concepts, one of the guys on EvoXForums that is from Cincy said he goes there for all this work. So I emailed them and got a good response...

Dustin,

That is no problem for us. Here’s the price break down.

Mount and balance - $80
Fender Roll - $90
Alignment - $110

I have personally done many of these cars and know what you look out for when rolling the rear fenders.

they quoted me a little more for the roll...but that's an expensive alignment!! are you trying to fit all four wheels and tires in the evo and drive down?

Tires on my current rims are going on the new rims..so I only need to bring the wheels which will be easy to pack in. Hopin to get all this nonsense done for about $300 and be done with it. They are gonna have to adjust my ride height to, could be a long day.
