Evo's in Milwaukee Wisconsin..........................
After spending most of my life on the beach with girls in bikinis, my wife and I are giving it up to move to Milwaukee (Brookfield, Greendale, Greenfield, or Franklin). Anyway I just spent 2 weeks driving all over there looking for a house. In two weeks I saw NO Evo's except for a white one in a garage with a WRX parked in the driveway. I know there are a lot of Evo's in Milwaukee because I see your posts. What gives? Is everybody in hiding because they are afraid of getting a wing ticket? What am I getting myself into? I actually got excited when I saw a riced out Honda (from a distance) I was so desperate.
Move to Brookfield, cops are decent to older folks like me with big wings..
I've never had a problem with them.
Seriously, great neigborhoods, schools and home value on the way up, but high taxes.

What a serious relief..............glad to know that there are a few of us around. We found a lot of houses but are going to have one built, so I wont be there until January. Can anyone tell me what to expect with emissions? (As far as mods etc.) Also are tinted windows a problem? And are the cops going to be crawling under the car looking for a catalytic converter? Thanks for the replies guys. Oh yea, Big Boost your not kidding about the taxes...damn.

If you stay in the Milw metro area you won't have a problem with the cops, Milw cops are pretty decent but once you get out in the smaller burbs the cops really don't have anything to do so they seem to make up their own laws to pull you over, hence my wing ticket battle. Do not drive in west allis on weekend nights if you don't want to be pulled over.
Emissions are pretty strict here, since your car is awd they only do a sniffer test at idle, so if you have any type of EM just delete some fuel around there, this is what I would do but my car is registered in central WI where there are no emissions
Milwaukee is a great city to live in, especially during the summers. There is summerfest (going on right now) it is an 11 day music festival, state fair. those are the 2 main ones then every weekend there is some type of ethnic festival going on anywhere from German, Polish, Taliban (dont go), Irish (real big), and a few others. If you go to the beach DO NOT go in the lake, either you will lose something or gain something you WILL NOT be the same person. Out of the city there are great driving roads, Holy Hill is great and thats where i go all the time.
Keep us updated on your move.
EDIT: We also have 93 octane insted of the **** water 91 you have out there.
I live in Menomonee Falls. If you are building, you may want to look up here. Just slightly north of Bookfield and lots of new construction/open lots.
For some reason, there are lots of Evo's in the falls. We may have more in the falls than any other suburb in the area.
We have beaches and some hot girls in bikinis. Heck, we even have a few surfers that surf on Lake Michigan. Although this town is blue collar and can be a little narrow in terms of offerings, it is a pretty good place to live. Lots to do in the city--especially the festivals. Close by are Chicago and Madison. Want that big city feel for the weekend--Chi town is an hour away. Want a Berkley-like college campus with every oddity--Madison is 90 miles away.
Good luck with the move...

Thanks for all the replies.....I'm kind of looking forward to the move in January. Two more questions...........
1) Am I going to need to get winter tires? (I have BFG KDWS's)
2) Anybody in the market for a supercharged 600+WHP 2002 Z06?
Rarely driven since getting the Evo
