Well my wife and I traded in the MR for a 2005 Apex Silver EVO 8 w/SSL. Man, what a nice interior with the leather, and the sunroof is awesome too.
I liked the MR alot but I should have gone with the GSR to begin with in this setup. We were looking at one and I talked my wife out of it and I ended up with the MR.
The nice thing is we got 0% financing through the Mitsubishi promotion plus a $500 owner loyalty.
I am really please with the car and the 5 spd. is actually very nice.

what did you do with all the upgrades on the mr?
Hope you didn't trade it in with all the upgrades. I finally picked one up. An 03 silver.
Done the cams and exhaust so far, waiting for the AEM EMS and we'll have some fun on the dyno.

I give - OK Curt, put me down for a slot and I'll show up. I may even wash my car first - or just leave it with all the track grime from last Saturday.
I haven't been posting much here lately because I've been pretty busy with the new business, the new MR2 project car for my wife, and all things summer in MN. My Evo is pretty much settled (aside from the ususal maintenance stuff) until we can get a national Evo tuner out here again. I do have some custom Team Dynamics rims and and Vishnu's SMART upgrade for my XEDE on order, though.
Actually I did trade it in with all the upgrades, documentation, and stock parts.
Really what should happen is the car needs to goto David Buschur for a once over and then it needs to get strapped on the Dyno and it needs to be custom tuned again from David from there.
David has a AWD mustang dyno now and with his expertise along with his history with the 4g63 and his performance parts I feel he could get the car dialed in perfectly.
If I go the performance route again I am doing things in "LITTLE" stages instead of just plopping everything on like that at once and then trying to get it all dialed in is a headache and not WORTH the time.
The only thing I might consider is having David do the Buschur BR350 kit on this car next year maybe if I can swing the finances. I like the idea of making 350 crank horsepower without having to go into the internals of the engine (i.e. cams/cam gears, etc.).
Also, I will NOT be putting in another Exedy twin plate...those things are too DAMN noisy for my taste. I will go the ACT Performance clutch and factory flywheel or if ACT has there new flywheel out next year and perfected I will go with that instead.
No more multi plate clutches for me.

You know Mike, maybe next year you and I could take a trip down to Buschur's to have your car gone over and me to have the BR330 or 350 kit installed and then dyno'd.
I feel David is probably the BEST tuner in our region and he's only 750 miles away and not on the other end of the country like all the other tuner's.
I think giving David enough time to work out all the kinks with his dyno and get the dialed in properly will reap huge benefits next year in making sure the cars are tuned properly.
Plus with all the work to your head/engine I am sure David would have a good sense of where to nail things down in the tune.
