SPC will be hosting a track day & lapping session at the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet Illinois on Friday, July 29. This will be the first public lapping session to be held at this private country club since its opening. For more information on the facilities and track layout, visit their website. This is your chance to gain some valuable pre-race practice time on this track.

During our lapping session, we will run on the north circuit. This 1.46 mile 10-turn stretch will be the same track that will be run for the SCCA race on the following Saturday. Sessions will be 20 minutes in length with 4 run groups: beginner, advanced, SCCA open wheel, and SCCA closed wheel. Check-in at the track will begin at 7am, with a driver's meeting at 8:30am. The track will go hot at 9am, and we are planning on running until 5pm. Each run group will receive at least 4 - 5 sessions on the track.
Be sure to have new brake pads, fresh race fluid, and race ready tires. Due to the high speed reached on this track a harness is highly recommended but not required.
Cost is $205 prepaid or $215 at the door.
