IL - WI Good & Cheap Spring Install???

Hi Everyone,
I just got off the phone with a few tire places and they quoted me some ungodly price for a spring install. They all want like $400 for the job. When I had my GSX, I had my whole suspension done for under $200 at a now closed tuning shop in IL.

Does anyone know of a good cheap place to get springs installed?

Thanks!!!

I don't know if they do installations, but it can't hurt to ask. Thalmann's Alignment is a kick *** place. Had my new tires aligned there, and I know they do suspension alignments. Todd is a really nice guy. Give them a call and see what they can do. I don't think it will be cheap, but they do have really nice equipment that will take full advantage of your spings. Good luck bro!

By the way, they are located out in Glenview, past the new Costco/Home Depot on Willow Road.

I got mine done at Auto Plus in Chicago... It's a lil shop in my neighborhood...
They did my springs on my RA for $190.00
They're on Elston near Montrose...
They're good... they did a full JDM front end on my brother 'tegra.. They do great work...
If you'd like to PM me I can give you their phone number & you could call over there!

I did mine myself. Its not hard. It took me an afternoon, night and morning to do them because i got a little wasted during the install.

Yeah, I may end up getting a buddy of mine to help out. He has done spring installs many times, but his schedule doesn't open up for about a 3 weeks... I am getting wheels delivered soon and am anxious to put them on. I will probably just wait, but if a good place is available I would be interested.

Dryad001 - I just moved to Wisconsin (Kenosha), so I don't know of any shops in the area. If you have any further insight into places in Wisconsin, that would be great.

Alkaline Trio - I will Pm you for info - Thanks!
