Yes, on the stock clutch with my listed mods, I was consistent between 1.71-1.79 on my 60' times. Mostly, I would get 1.74-1.76, but obviously some were better/worse depending on how well I nailed the launch. I now have an ACT HDSS, so I will be going out this weekend to just do test launches. Yeah, if my ETs are better, then great, but I'm more interested in seeing if I can do consistent 1.6x 60's now with a real clutch in place of the stocker. Since I used to always do 1.6x 60's in my previous DSMs with the predecessor to this clutch and stock 100k-mile crappy suspension, logic would dictate that I would get 1.6s all day long, but you never know until you get the timeslip. I will then be going to the Evo vs WRX shoot out the following weekend in Englishtown, NJ. THat track is very well-known and is very good, so anything I can do at the local redneck track should be reproducable at E-town, if not improved.

I would be luck just to get a 1.6 60'. But ihave only been to the track three times. I get better every time but I have not mastered it yet. I too just got the ACT so I will be excited to see how that helps. That should help the 60' and the ET. I guess will see.

I will be able to provide a good altitude comparison, since I'll be going from 500' to 5000'+. We'll see how much my et/mph suffers, then the rest of you can use that as a baseline instead of relying on altitude conversion calculators.
Yeah that will be awesome, we are always guessing but never know.

I'm thinking of running in the "Street Tuner Mayhem" event on September 18th. Have any of you been to this in previous years? If so, is it worthwhile?

How's everyone been running this year at Bandimere. Any low 11's yet?

As far as I know, I'm the only other EVO to run 11's at Bandimere. Allen will join us on Wed.

No low 11's yet but yours John, the only other 11 I've heard of besides Justin is a guy with some bolt-ons and cams, etc. with a 50 shot that ran a 11.89. - Hey Warrtalon, you'd better get here before Oct 5. That is the last scheduled test-n-tune!

Damn, I'm screwed! We'll probably be moving that week or weekend, so I doubt I'll be able to drive to Denver at 3pm on a Wednesday, but we'll see. I guess tracks close early up there in anticipation of snow? Our tracks continue running through December or until the first snow, so we get plenty of cool temperature opportunities in October and November. What about the Pueblo track?

Actually I'm not too sure about PMI (Pueblo)? I know they stay open later than Bandimere during the day also. But on the downside the track/prep isn't near Bandimere.

Pueblo stays open until Oct. 31st. You're right, it's not near as nice as Bandimere.

I'll have to take what I can get. I deal with crappier tracks here, too, so I'm not too concerned about track prep and/or quality. Being open until Oct 31st will be good for getting some low temp runs...
