Nice! maybe we can get the word out to the subaru guys and get the 5 people we need. i dont live up there anymore, so i would appreciate it if you can get the word out.
btw, what kit are you going with now?
I'm still running stock ('05 GSR), but I am interested if there are gains to be had over mailing in the chip. Can anyone comment on the possible gains to be had on a stock vehicle over mailing it in (besides no time without my ECU!)

a custom tune makes a world of difference compared to a mail in flash. you can see my mods in my signature, i tried to get a mail in flash and actually lost 20whp compared to being tuned on the safc. the reason for this is that the gas in denver is better than the gas used to make the 91oct mail in flash(i think its California gas). you can search on the dynoflash forum and see results from others that had a stock or almost stock car with a custom tune. its definitely worth the custom tune.

which trim? the reason im asking is because i have been trying to decide on a kit for a couple of months now and still cant make up my mind. the 20g looks very nice, but i want more power than that. the 3071 seems similar to the 20g so im not sure which is better. the 3076 is not recommended by most people, including vendors, on this forum. the 35r is the best, but not sure how it will work up at this elevation. i am considering a stroker kit in the future, but for now i need to decide on a turbo. any suggestions?

the price is $399, but we would have to put a $100 deposit for him to come out. the advantage of the custom flash is that you can get your car tuned once by a highly skilled tuner. other options are the safc(which is limited since you cant pull timing), piggy back(utec etc., still limited since you would need to tune yourself or have someone else tune it), and aem (which takes a highly skilled tuner to get it right). i like the flash because Al has done wonders for numerous people and the best part is you dont have to worry about not getting the full potential of your car. if you want to do it, please let me know and i can add you to the list.

Nice!! Not sure right now on dates. I am hoping for mid October , like 8th or 15th, i cant do it at the end since i will be in phoenix on business.
i posted on a subaru forum also and might have one subaru, the guy is going to contact Al to see what kind of gain he will see with a custom tune.

I agree, maybe we should try to plan something during the spring time. if any colorado evo owners see this, please keep this in mind. hopefully, one way or another, we can actually make this happen.
