There is an EVO in my garage!!! Finally!! Unreal car!!
Let me tell ya, this thing is awesome!! I was the first to be delivered at Porcaro Mitsubishi in Racine. Apex Silver, High Spoiler, and a Sunroof. $500.00 over sticker. Full Pit Pass as well.( 9 services)
Based on the posts, I think I am the second to be delivered in Milwaukee that I am aware of.. Fireball I think was first...Bastard..
Took great pictures, but the camara I borrowed needs to be wired to the computer....Won't be able to post shots till Monday!!
I JUST got it in the garage about an hour ago, and it's snowing like a ***** here now....I will not be driving it in the snow yet...
Cripes, it only has 55 miles on it!! Picked it up with 7 miles!!
The car looks NOTHING like it does in person on paper. Forget the pictures that you see...Until you walk up on one and visualize it all in front of you, you really can't tell how AGGRESSIVE this car looks. It is BEEFY!! Stock Lancers look like Corrollas compared to this car. (Sorry Lancer OZ owners) You can tell a lot went in to the body of this car. No sheetmetal is sharwd other than front doors I guess. The first thing I thought of when walking up on the car was.."wow....it looks like a Japanese E30 body M3!!.."
The car looks hot..
Mitsu dealers are so-so at set up for delivery. I spotted some scuffs and what not but oh, well.
The car handles VERY well.
JUST POINT AND SHOOT!!
It is fast, but I am going easy on it. It moves fast, but doesnt' suck you back in your seat. The first thing I thought was "fast or highly modded Eclipse Turbo." I'm sure it is faster than that, but when your not punching it in first or second, it probobly feels slower. I will have to goose it more as time goes on..Maybe it will blow my mind then. I think some other cars have felt faster initially, but none for around 30K. Porsche's, ETC. came to mind. I have to see this thing go up against some heavy hitters when the time comes. Not that I condone street racing or anything, but I will see what this fricken thing can do when the time comes!! 
The seats are AWESOME!!
The ride is VERY FIRM, but not too obnoxious.
Noise level in the car is higher than most, buy not too bad.
Fit and finish is good, but I hear a rattle already unless it was something in the glovebox.(digital camare case or??) I will know for sure when it stops snowing and I can take it out and put some miles on it. The thought of getting it all crudded up right away makes me kind of not want to drive right this minute. The good news, is I have all the time in the world to drive it because:

You figure that I didn't test drive it before signing the paperwork and forking over the check. I never needed to. After driving it,(well...OWNING it, really) I can tell you that it was the right move!!
The car is everything that I expected.

He is three years old. Yep. You guessed it, he came WITH ME in dadd'ys new EVO!!! I'm sure all the boy-racers out there are like, "what??!!..You put a fricken car seat in the back on your first ride out of the dealership??!!" I wanted my son to feel the enthusiasm that I was feeling, too. He did, and after awhile was saying, "Daddy, go fast!!" Good kid my son is.
I took it to my old dealership for it's first "appearance" to show the guys and they were ALL over it. One thing is for sure, is that this car is going to attract ALL KINDS of attention.
Going to anything car related will be fun, because the enthusiasts will know what this sucker is about!
I'm excited to have it in my garage!! I won't pass by many on the road, and the ones I DO pass, will be guys I know because of this board!! Talk about owning a rare car!!
In closing and believe me, I will post the "OFFICIAL" I own it post, when I get pictures, I think the car is the right one.
If you have an order and are paying List or thousands over, WAIT IT OUT, BITE THE BULLET, AND BUY THE EVO. It is a ****load of car for the money.
I will be posting this again when I can get some pics online on Monday when I can upload them..

i rode in one today at AMS, that was a cool experience but did u think this car was loud?? AMS upgraded the intake to a K&N cone filter and even with that it didnt seem too loud.
M3, i hear ya when u said attracting attention..lots of lookers when we were in the car
did driving the car give u another "love" for the car? cause just riding in it sure did for me.. well anyways, congrats!

Oh yeah im planning on buying an evo also, I was wondering if next years will be higher horses to compete with the 330 HP WRX STi, Cause 270 is good but 300+ is better, and i know i could mod the present evo , but starting better yields better ends results. Also if anyone keeps up on WRC i hope you do , Evo is out this year because of research, in other words they are making a better car, thats why I plan on waiting for a NEWER Evo. But we'll see what happens this coming year. Hey I also can't afford one for another year or two, so if i had the money it would be hard to wait.
Any way , I LOVE EVOS!!!!!
Can't Wait to see them on the streets up here in redmond!!
