I just got pulled over for my tint by a milwaukee cop downtown. I have 20% all the way around. That asshat was soooooooooo eager to use that damn light-tester he was stuttering and dropping his sh*t everywhere. I wanted to tell him to F off so bad.

GET THIS:

He did not issue just one ticket.

He did not just issue two tickets

He fuc*ing issues THREE tickets

He tells me that the car is split up into three sections, the front two windows, the two back door windows, and the whole back window.

Each Ticket is $71.50 and 2 points

What a F*cking crock of sh*t!

wow i cant belive that ****....thats horrible....u shoulda told him to go give the place that tinted it the tickett.....or what about all the ghetto guys with 5% all around...thats BULLSHWAG....go to court for that...atleast theyll lower the points or fine price

 

what is the legal tint in WI, i kno here in MN its 50%, whent with 35% tho

 

i dont see why they would have 3 sectioins...why would you have 3 diff % of tint....UGLAY

 

I just got 20% not too long ago as well, but haven't had any problems yet... I did get a speeding ticket on the beltline, but the cop didn't harass me about anything (tint, wing, exhaust, ...). I just did a 3" turbo-back so we'll see how much more attention I get

 

like I had said, this cop was no more than 25 years old, he had pimples all over his face for ****s sake.

He was sooooooooooooooooooooo eager to use that tint tester.

dang, im still irritated.. i dont speed, i dont drive recklessly, i dont drive drunk, i dont do stupid **** in my car, I dont have an aftermarket exhaust, My car is basically stock.... but I get this crap.

Cops need to use thier time more efficiently, like nabbing the punks who commit actual crimes, not some average joe who works his *** off everyday, pays his taxes.... etc...

 

50% in front and 35% in the rear "two sections" - lame!

 

3 tickets ! Go fight that crap!!

 

Anybody knows what's the legal tint in IN ?

 

voodoo that's totally weaksauce. I've resisted the tint for that very reason, cops in Milwaukee seem like total dicks. Though my old roomie practically had a limo tint on his truck but never had a problem. Cops must be jealous of the Evo.

 

oh most deffinately....they see our cars and assume we think were straight off of the fast and furious set.....i see billions of caddilacs and caprices with 5% limo tint all the way around and nothing......even when im just driving down the street at speed limit cops going the opposite way will pull u-turns and follow me for a while almost as if theyre waiting for me to do something.

 

i got pulled over in my home town of fond du lac, three times in one day! this was two years ago in my old car, but none the less i got three citations by the same cop. and each one of my fines was double the price of one of yours almost, 136.50 each, and 2 points. but seriously take it to court, i took mine to court and they dropped two of them to seatbelt fines, but i had to pay one in full, and take the 2 point loss. and only pay 156.50. which still sucks, but better than what it could have been. the cop said he can give me one for each window, i have never heard of the section thing? you really dont even have to go to court, you can either fax or mail in your plea of not guilty, and then all you will have to do is call either the city or distric attorney, depending on who issued the citation city or county. after what would be your initial court day, you can call up the court house and ask to talk to the city or district attorney, and settle your citations right over the phone. there is no need to take off of work or school, and plus you wont have to sit thru 4 hours of people witht he same problem as you, if you want more info feel free to PM me.
As for the cop with acne, he wanted to be a cop becuz he was one of those guys in high school that had no friends, and is now taking it out on the world, by becoming a cop and getting his revenge with all the people that appear to look like would have made fun of him in high school, i bet if he were to pull over grandma or grandpa jones who had window tint on say a used car they bought, and it was 20%, he would have just let them go w/out even taking his license, but he probably knows nothing about EVO's, see a wing oh he is trying to be all fast and furious like, he needs a ticket or three.
