Thumbs up findtheline.com Mid-AmericaMotorplex event on Oct 1st.

We are gathering cars for another great event at Mid-America Motorplex on Saturday, October 1st!

Go here to register:
http://www.findtheline.com/eventreg/

-The entry fee is $150 for the day. You have the option of paying FTLM staff at the event, but if we don't get enough pre-registrations to cover the cost of the track we'll have to call it off.

-You are responsible for making sure that your car is teched out. We will present you with a checklist to go over and sign at the track. You can find the form here: Tech Form

-Drivers and passengers must have an SA2000 rated helmet. (No we're not going to inspect helmets.)

The format is as follows:

8:00 am
Mandatory drivers meeting to discuss track rules.

8:30 am
Parade lap, all drivers. An attempt will be made to space experienced cars along the line to help show the new drivers the 'line'.

9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Open lapping starting with group A and switching every 15-20 minutes.

12:00 - 1:00 pm
Lunch break, 1 hour. Eat, talk about how fast you were, bleed breaks, clean your underwear from the last session, et, et. The track has a small concession stand to get food during lunch time (food not included in registration fee).

1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Resume open lapping starting with the group that was next up before the lunch break. Groups may be combined as cars leave for the day.

5:00 pm
Clean up and head out.

Notes:
The registered driver is the only one allowed to drive the car on the track. Passengers are allowed with proper safety equipment (SA2000 rated helmet, working safety belt, et).

Newer drivers:
Professional instruction is available on request for a reasonable fee! (How much depends on how many request instructor.) In addition to the intructors, there will be some very skilled drivers in the A group willing to take you as a passenger to show you their line or to ride along with you to coach you as you drive. All you need to do is ask ask the A group drivers!
