evil car dealership in downers grove
I just wanted to tell everyone to watch out if they are buying a car from luxury motors in downers grove, located just north of chicago. I bought my evo from them after having the car for only 9 days and putting only 600 miles on the car it died on my while crusing down the road. I called them and told them that it had died and theu told me that it was my problem not theirs. the sales manager told me that the car had been messed up because of the way I had been driving it. I only had the car for 9 days. I admitt that i did run the car hard here and there, sut that is what the car is ment for. after all the evo is a sports car. I ran the car hard for only short burst. I never missed a shift and I never ran the car passed 7000rpms.
When I bought the car I bought it over the internet. When I called them they discribed the car as a perfect car with only 9 thousand miles. anyway the car that they sold me had no warrenty. they told me over the phone that it still had the factory warrenty, but this was a lie. luxury motor is owned by a person that also has a
dealership. I have the records of where they took the car and found out all ther problems with the car and then they sold it to me anyway. luxury motors told me that the only mods to this car were that it had a apexi-**** and a AMS intercooler. in actuallity the car also had the wastegate bypassed and the rev limiter disconnect. these two mods voided the warrenty and left me hung out to dry. the cost to fix all the motor probs in my car cost me more than 6 grand. I had to buy new heads, pistons, connecting rods, valves, and rings. luxury motors is a company that can't be trusted and if anyone needs proof I would be happy to supply them with documentation. the sales person i delt with is joe mullano and the manager of luxury motors is david raffius. these two people are crooks and can't be trusted.
