Used to have an old VIII now I've got a GGP IX coming...keep an eye out

 

I have one also. Actually the wife and I got rid of the 2005 GG MR and bought a 2005 Silver GSR w/SSL. I installed a Defi D gauge in my old MR and took it out. It's not that hard to run everything.

The only thing I have done so far for the GSR right now is installed the Apexi Auto Timer and man oh man do I LOVE that thing! I love getting the realtime A/F ratios, o2 sensor voltages, and battery voltage indicators more than I love having the turbo timer!

I am going the WORKS route next time for mods since they engineer everything off the factory specs. for a factory fit. As much as I like Buschur's BR330/350 packages I like the WORKS stuff also.

 

Maybe we can shoot for a BBQ get together or meet up at Speedlab in the Spring/Summer.

 

I'd be down with that... Unfortuantely i'm still a ways out on getting the EVO so i'll be driving the Max-ride, but it'd still be nice to meet you guys.

 

Some type of event could be fun. It looks like my car will be down for a bit though - it started making bad noises a couple of weeks ago. It basicaly sounded like the oil presure droped while crusing down the freeway.

I probably won't be able to make time to pull everything apart and rebuild until after Christmas. Hmm - perhaps I should ask Santa for a stroker kit...

 

Seems as though this is an old thread hope its not to big of a deal if I bring it back to life...But anywho I just bought an EVO last monday and checked for some MN'ers out there seems to be a whole mess of ya....I too agree that we should get some sort meet/gathering somewhere....Thanks glad to meet you all and if you have any tips or advice I am all ears

I have a Silver Evo MR in St. Paul. From my observations, I don't see many in the area. Once in awhile I'll see one or another creeping around. There are definitely lurkers, just like me.

 

i saw a White VIII RS at the airport on monday morning, is that anyone on here?

 

I have seen 10 different evos in minneapolis/st paul area myself.

I was at Cub Foods in Brooklyn Park today right off of Brooklyn Blvd. and seen a Red VIII....Any one know who this might be.......Just thought'd I would ask

 

i dont live in MN ...northwestern IA. but a few friends & i were in bloomington sat/early sun. and we saw a silver evo with tinted windows/exhaust by the hampton innn around 6pm. we werent in my car ...we were up in our room and my girlfriend jumped up going EVO EVO.

 

LOL...man I can't wait to drive my baby home!!
