I try to at least spray mine off every week and get the crappy salt off and out of the engine bay. Driving a black car is a pain in the butt, but sure does look good when its clean

so your cars are more like a job than a pleasure to drive, or maybe a chore.
Washing it every week, OK but waxing it every week, what do you think you are accomplishing. Unless you are using dishwasher soap every time you wash you don't need to wax that often.

Do they salt in your area? I think if they salt you should deffinetly wash often and especially wash the full under cariage and engine bay really well at the end of the salting season. They don't usually use salt here!! I just stop by a do-it-yourself place once a week and spray it off for a buck in quarters then I do a full wash probably about once a month!

er, 4, maybe 5 times this calendar year. Besides salt is a cheap, effective way of having tear graphics on the side of your car

/still hasn't wiped down the interior in 2.5 years

During the summer I think I was washing it once week but now the winter is upon us and the whole ideal of losing my fingers due to frostbite because I was washing the Evo doesn't appeal to me so much...

Alas, I'll probably be out there tomorrow washing it in the cold and doing it in 1 foot sections and then blowing on my hands to keep em warm.

I don't wax it every week, it's usually once or twice a month. I either way, I don't put that in the chore category. I just like to make the car stay clean.

its too cold outside, i haven't washed my car in since beginning of November.

And the weather in Chicago has just sucked lately. Barely any sunlight anymore, just snow, snow, and more snow. I dont plan on washing my car until it starts showing more sun outside.
