Well after an enjoyable day of running around yesterday the thought came to mind what if we have a ski/snowboard meet. It doesnt matter if you are a pro, a novice or if you have never gone because I am sure that there will be others at your particular skill level. Imagine the potential pictures... I also realize that this may be a psuedo evo meet because of those with ski's or boards won't beable to put them in their cars unless we decide the remove the rear seat.

Group rates at most "resorts" will require at least 20 people which reduces the price by roughly $10

Cost would be roughly $60 for lift ticket and rentals

Let me know what you think.

Where are you going?

And why was your day so enjoyable yesterday?

Alright Mike, I volunteer you to take out your seats and carry my gear than! Actually Im pretty sure if I cruise alone I can fold down the passenger seat and fit my stuff corner to corner. I dont know, I have never tried. You know I'm game for the slopes! Not a huge fan of Alpine Valley. Sorry Nick! Figure out date time location... At LEAST 2 weeks in advanced.

I don't mind carrying your stuff, but since my car happens to be a wonderful sled I'd just take my dad's outback or my mom's cross country

As for location, I am leaning towards Chestnut. Decent size, not to far away, slopes aren't to bad, and neither is the cost. I am guessing a sat or sun would be best for most people.

Hah play your cards right and we can roll out with the top down when it finally gets nice out

I was just saying weekends maybe eaiser for those who work the standard 8-5 mon-fri but you are right a coupel weeks ago when I went on a thurs night to chestnut there was maybe 40 people there. Chestnut has a good special on thursdays if you have a college id

Hrmmm..iJoy in the evo...that would be interesting. Sad though that I couldn't compare to that damn comfy chair

sounds like a good idea, we just got back last weekend from Chestnut with a bunch of friends. 100% runs open and snowboard park was open too. If we go I could take some boards up in my wifes cherokee.

Lets pick weekday night or weekend first. Weekday evenings will be less expensive and also less crowded however a weekend would probably the easiest for more people to come.

How does 3 weeks out sound...Jan 21? That would give those who work weekends ample time to ask for the day off.

I was thinking noon till whenever. That way it gives people a decent amount of time to get out there without waking up at the crack f dawn since it is about a 1:45 min drive for me and most are further away than I am.
