Okay...the dealer I bought my car through is saying that my Evo shipment has been delayed by Mitsubishi and that it will not arrive until 4/1 now!! ARGH! More delays! Is anyone hearing this from their dealer, or is mine just shady???

**NOTE**

Car was ORIGINALLY supposed to be here 3/13.....then was delayed until 3/24......now 4/1. I gave them a deposit based on the stipulation that it was here within 7 days of the original 3/13 date and I still don't have a car.

 

i went and talked to the dealer (ann arbor, mi) i got my lancer from in feb. and he said they weren't even getting their FIRST shipment (5 or 6) until mid-april.

 

The dealer in Toledo Ohio said the same thing

 

Maybe it is an Aprils Fools Day joke

 

Sounds like all those dealers you're talking about didn't get a first allocation (not all dealers did). They are waiting on the second allocation (first for them of course

 

My Evo's ETA is 4/19.... and its killing me!

 

Update: My dealer freaking jerked me around so much that I had to call Mitsubishi headquarters MYSELF and start busting some heads to find out where the heck my car was.

Originally promised by dealer to be IN MY HANDS around 3/13....then 3/24....4/1.....4/3.....you get the idea....they had their heads up the a$$........ARGH!!

Mitsu headquarters says: Not scheduled to LEAVE PORT IN WASHINGTON until 4/12......ARGH! %$&%$%^$&&$&^$!!!

I busted some more skulls and might be able to get it by 4/5. I really don't like car dealers.
