Hey I was just searching on the scca site and cant find the list of people. I paid and would feel more comfy if I saw my name on that list. Can someone forward me the link?

This is the only school for the Chicago Region, but the Milwaukee Region is hosting a 1 day school on April 29th.

What to Bring to an Event
This list covers everything from sunscreen to snacks to tires pressure gauges. You will probably come up with your own list of things you need at a Solo event, but this will get you started.
You must have:
Your car (although you may share a car with someone else)
A valid driver's license or ticket w/ picture ID
You may want to bring:
Masking Tape for numbers unless you want to buy some on site
A safety helmet (we have loaners available)
Suitable shoes for driving. The best are light-soled, with a narrow sole which does not stick out past the side of the shoe
Sunglasses
Sunscreen
Clothes appropriate for the weather forecast, plus a change for when the forecast is wrong.
Rain gear / umbrella
A hat
A folding chair
Thermos or Cooler of water or other non alcoholic beverage
Windex and paper towels
A pad and pencil to write down all the advice you'll get
A good tire pressure gauge
Chalk or white shoe polish to mark the tires
A torque wrench if you have one
Portable air compressor

Well the results are posted. They are a little skewed b/c a few people got dry runs in b4 it started to rain. I hope you guys had a good time. Sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to the Lancer drivers.
Event 1 is next Sunday, and it will be the same course: http://register.scca-chicago.com/

Jeff you did a great job, and got faster and faster all weekend. I hope you enjoyed the ride and my shameless plug for the Quaife LSD. I should be muellerized and have the Hoosiers next time you come out so, feel free to take another ride on one of my runs next time
Hope to see you guys out there again soon.

Thanks for the post Bill, I wasn't able to find the results on th SCCA site(maybe I should try using two hands
) . I had a great time and am definitely interested in running again, not sure when though. I think everyone should take this course, it's too bad they only have it once a year.
I know it's still early, but do you know if anyone from SCCA was taking pictures(someone was) and if they will be posting them somewhere?
You did a great job instructing, good luck next week

Good job publicizing the learning curve, Bill. I've been too busy to even tell people about it.
Ralph, hope you had fun man!
If any of the participants want to tell me:
1) What did you enjoy most?
2) What did you learn?

Hey Bobaab! I had such a blast~! I was just a tad disappointed it started pouring out after my 3rd run which added seconds to all our times. But overall it was awesome! I wish I could go next Sunday since it's the same course but unfortunately I can't.
1) I enjoyed the whole learning experience...behind the wheel and riding shotgun with my instructor in my car and his car. It really showed me the ins and outs of tackling the course.
2) I learned the Lancer is capable of a lot more and I can push it even further. With combining the skills I've learned, I can really refine my way around the course. That's why I can't wait till the next time.
I'm most likely signing up for Event 2 in May! Hope to see famiiar faces/cars!
