i know ive seen a few people that live in springfield. im just curious what its like there. im considering going to mo-state and just want some input about the area.

I've lived in the midwest all my life. Been around St Louis, MO for the last 8 years.

We get all 4 seasons... so be prepared.
You're going to need some all-seasons or winter tires for the Evo dude. Haven't got a lot of snow the past 2 years oddly enough. We usually get our share of ice as well and freezing rain. Been tornadoes lately as well as high winds (70+) and hail.
Spring and Fall are rather short.
Summer gets f'in hot. We'll see lots of 90's, and the high humidity will push the heat index into the 110's.

so winter has a definite distinction huh? i kinda figured itd be a little more tame since its a little further south.
