Angry Stolen Wheels!

This morning i went out to my car to find it sitting there on blocks. Someone stole my stock enkis. Thankfully they didnt take anything else. I filed a police report, but they flat out told me there was nothing they could do. If anyone sees someone trying to sell some stock evo wheels with dunlop graspic DS-1 tires (winter tires) pm me. worst morning ever!

thanks

Don't you have the locking nuts on your wheels? It should come stock that way! Sucks bro sorry to hear it. Hopefully they turn up, but basically its a loss. Time for some aftermarkets i guess!

Unfortunately locking nuts will only stall the thieves for an extra five minutes. Thats the reason I dont use them at all. If they want the wheels they will take it. If they do take it hopefully they wont damage anything else because they were trying to remove wheel locks.

only thing they would damage was the wheels which could stall them long enough to not take them. It takes one person on the road or whatever to see something fishy going on which may prevent them from taking them. Its worth having them on seeing how they put them on for a reason.

Just my opinion is all, but i think your next set of wheels should include some locking lugs.

yea i had locking nuts. like others have said it only stalls the theif for a few minutes. there wasnt even any damage to the lock nut. (they left all the lugs behind.) and yes time for aftermarket.......and for me to clean out the garage so i can park in there. any suggestions on wheels. i havnt heard how much the insurance company is going to give me so budget will depend on that.

On a good note, those stockers should retail nicely with Mitsubishi. If you dont have a high deductible, I would almost be smiling for new rims and tires. Make sure the report indicates you had your stock Yoshi's on the tires, that will get you more bling bling.

I would check to see where those jerks jacked up your car. I hope they didn't mess anything else up. Sorry to hear that.

yea i got a better look at it after work today and they just jacked it up right in the middle of the car. the side skirts are all messed up and so is the metal underneath. the insurance company did tell me since the wheels are so hard to find that they will be going off mitsus quote so it shoud be enough for a nice new set.
