You may be thinking of L2r99gst. I know Eric has an in-car computer setup. And I'm thinking his car is silver but not sure. I've wanted to see his setup for a while. Its a project I've thought about starting many times before but have yet go forward with it. Good luck.

kcevo has a hard-drive in his evo. It leads up to a touch screen monitor on his dash. Very clean set-up. He's not chicago land area but he may be of some assistance for you
