EnJaNir... I'm not saying Lancer7 has to drive out of his way to meet up with everyone at AMS... I was just simply stating that it was a bunch of fun and definitely worth the drive. I meant that comment from my point of view... since I too had a long drive to AMS, when in return it would have been sorter for me to just drive out to Normal. Everyone is different and does things for different reasons... if Lancer7 wants to drive out to AMS he can... if not... hopefully he'll meet up with the group later.

I'll meet up later. It seems silly to drive an extra 4 hours. Especially when I drive right through bloomington to get up there.

i say we meet up at dominicks in schaumburg, the parking lot is huge. i have nothing against ams at all, so im up for that too, but their parking lot isnt that big, and if we are going to have a lot of mitsu owners, it might get a little hectic.

we meet at AMS last year and was just fine space wise. AMS also cooked out for everyone so why not meet there. plus the cops didn't mess with ANY of us because we were on private property hanging with the peoples that had a shop there. i personally rather meet at AMS.

speaking of which... hey guys any set times yet when we're all meeting up at the AMS shop? anyone know if the big group of wisconsin peoples are meeting up with us at AMS too? oh and anyone talk to the local hotels yet? we staying at the same one as last year? anybody know yet? once times are set someone let me know... since i have quite a drive up there.

-Last year space wise was barely adequate...some people left early in a huge pack

-The drive to the hwy from AMS broke up the pack that left together and caused traffic issues

-So they cooked out last year, that was last year and has nothing to do with this year

-No location has been picked yet

-No time has been chosen yet

-If you want to stay at a hotel, call yourself and make a reservation as no one has mentioned anything of staying in a hotel yet

I'm with Sarah and Gina...the Dominics parking lot is far easier to find, larger, and closer to the on ramp to 294. Not only that its a good place to meet because if people want to grab some snacks for the long ride down they are riht there.

Yea, it was a shock to see an identical Evo to mine fly past me, then look down at my speedometer and see 120 mph....

A bit too fast for my tastes but it is amazing how rock solid the car feels at 100+ mph.

I will have to agree with this one...... No cops will bother us if we are in the dominicks parking lot early in the morning and it is much easier for everyone to stay together getting on the highway..... not to mention i live in the houses right behind dominicks.... thats always a +

wow EnJaNir talk about being a jerk towards me.. sorry for being excited and looking forward to mod 06'. as for this whole meeting up thing i wasn't talking about meeting at ams the day of mod, because yeah we did lose quite a few people leaving from ams. i was referring to meeting up at ams the night before like we did last year... not the morning of mod. there was a bunch of peoples from wisconsin that came down the night before mod and we all meet at ams that night and ams cooked out for us.

you know to be quite honest your really making me NOT want to join your convoy to ams from the chicagoland area now. i'm just trying to be involved in all this despite the fact i live in the quad city area (iowa), and make the effort to make the drive to meet new people again and run into some peoples i met last year... but geezzz sorry for questioning whats going on. yeah know i do talk to other mitsu owners that need info too because they aren't apart of evom but yet what to drive up in this convoy. its not a sin to have asked and the question was out there for everyone... because maybe some things have been set, maybe not. thats why i questioned.

i have no prob with leaving from dominicks the day of mod to head out in a convoy all together, instead of ams. thats not a problem to me. two totally different times and days got mixed here.... because i wanted to know about details for the night before mod and whether or not a bunch of people are meeting up at ams like we did last year. if leaving from dominicks is going to be easier than cool.... no biggie.
