Chicago Bears!!!!
When did the chargers play the colts other than the season? The chargers lost the first game of the playoffs which were against the patriots. The superbowl game should've been between the chargers and the bears statistically. There is no other team in the bears division that is statistically better than they are. Same with the chargers division. The only team that is statistically better than the bears is the saints when it comes to the offense. But as we saw in the playoff game the bears ended up shutting down their running game. And brees ended up getting shut down as well.
Chargers went into the post season 15/2
Ravens were 14/3
Colts were 10/7
So the only team that shouldnt even be at the superbowl were the colts but the colts were favored to win against the bears.

here we go. shouldn't have even been there, or favored???? they just showed you why they were favored. they came in and handed you your asses. that's it. i see everyone is putting the whole thing on rex's shoulders. i agree he sucked. no doubt about it. but what about this awesome "#1 defense" you guys had?? colts had 24 first downs and 430 total yards. pretty sure rex didn't have a damn thing to do with either. how about 38 minutes of possession? indy came in and played their game, played great defense...even when rex wasn't throwing them the ball, or dropping it. take that opening return off of their, which was amazing, and the game was no where near close.
looked alot better when playing nfc teams, like i previously stated ALL YEAR, didn't they??

I said the colts were favored to win the superbowl against the bears. I also said the chargers were favored to win the superbowl before the post season even startered which was a fact because no team in the nfl was statistically as good as they were.
Yes the colts out played the bears. I dont know why you seem to think I think otherwise? Cause I agree with you. However, the colts never ever beat the chargers in the post season cause we never played them. We lost against the patriots so not to sure where you get the notion that you handed us our a$$es. The colts never played the chargers.

I wouldn't consider a 12 point difference having our asses handed to us. It's not like Indy had a 26-0 shutout. Rex did have a lot to do with it, when you keep your defense in for the entire game they tend to get beaten down. It's hard for one side to carry both sides throughout the game and maintain stamina.
'take that opening return off of their, which was amazing, and the game was no where near close.' Take 2 of their touchdowns away and we won. What's your point? . . yeah I'm sure I sound stupid, re-read what you wrote.
Owned? you want to talk about owned? how about not making the playofffs? Pulling your pud in the post season because you hate our team more than yours, that's owned. . . still NFC champs. . . which we never were going to do and then uh er uh durrrrr it's not that big of an accomplishment. I can't believe you're still a salty Packers fan after the seasons over.

the point about the kickoff return....that play and the 50 whatever yard run were the only 2 plays worth cheering about from your side. that's all. really wasn't as close as the score showed
and only the chicago area will remember the bears winning the nfc. the rest of the world will remember you losing the super bowl. does anyone remember the bills dominating the afc for 4 years? no, they remember the bills losing all those super bowls
Thats the worst thing you can do. Jeff Garcia is a system QB, and his sytem is a west coast offense. The bears dont have the offense to employee that offensive scheme. Jeff Gracia would flounder there. They need a true pocket passer who can use the run game to be a success. Matt Shaub would be a great addition to that offense.
Your right, the score wasn't close at all. Dno't get me wrong, I understand what you're saying but playing around in the fantasy land of 'what if' and 'if that hadn't happened' is completely stupid. Seems someone remembers the Bills dominating the AFC doesn't it? . . As for the world remembering us they'll remember who was in the superbowl and that we lost it whish is fine by me. Chicago will remember it and I'll definitely remember it. All crap aside it's been a great season for Chicago football and a great year for Chicago sports. Should be interesting to see what next year will bring.
The Bears had their time to prove if they could do it and they couldn't. I hope all the bandwagon jumpers can finally crawl back into their holes where they came from! Its been fun, see you guys in the NFC championship in another 20 years...
There's always been a truce
