Moving from Houston to Denver/need advise

As title state, I will be moving to Denver very soon and want to get prepared. I need a lot of advise as follows:

Best winter tires to get
How bad are emissions in Denver as I am running cams, catless, etc.
Any good Dyno Dynamics and shop in the area?
Any local Xede/Vishnu tuners around?
Any other things I need to look into to get my car ready for the move?

Any advise on life in Denver is appreciated as well.
Thanks in advance,

Sigfrid

Tires? Are you wanting all seasons or snow tires? I just put on the Falken ZE-512 and so far they are working fine and only $100 a tire. If and when you do emisions, you probably won't pass with out a cat. Yes, there are a few good shops and dynos around town.

Houston to Denver

I am looking for dedicated snow tires that I can put on and leave until March or something.

I heard that Colorado has emision tests on a dyno. Is that true?
I am not worried about the cat, I'm worried about the cams and my headers. If that clears, I will be fine. Thanks again for your advise.

I use Yokohama H rated tires. Expensive like $180 per tire....but well worth it. Great in the snow and still handles pretty well on dry roads.

I am no help on the emissions....cause I haven't had to test yet.
