Midwest Region Members....PLEASE READ!

I have PMed our Region's Mods and came up with an idea...

I know to some of you I am new, and prob have no idea. I will be getting a Evo ( I Pray) this coming spring and will be a full time member on this board. Over the months I have been here I have noticed that our region is really confusing as to who is from what state and there doesn't seem to be a State Members List around at all.

So that is what I propose to you is that we set up "Members List" threads for each state as to where each member of that State can post and announce where he or she is from. I was asked to make this thread and have you vote on the idea, to see if we could get them all "STICKY" at the top of the Region.

I just believe that it will help organize our region and make it easier to see who is from where....for meets and such.

I somewhat agree with this, I think the midwest region encompases the most states and I sometimes get confussed with CO and more west states too, not to knock them at all. I would be cool with splitting out at least more great lakes sates and mountain states would help.

Yea, I noticed how they seem to have less regions than what I am use to, but a members list would help.

Just look at the person's location. As long as people fill that out correctly; no prob.

Yes, that does help, but with the large amount of members, and the size of our region... That is a bit to look at.

I know of the site, and have visited a few time...Just not sure if I am a member or not (will have to check again. ) Just thought a National board would have more things going on. Usually the local boards are pretty quiet and if the MI evo board is anything like the MI 3G board, not much goes on for meets. You have to get to the National level.

Yes, and still am a very big member of that board. Mod and Regional meet organizer.

I know you have now joined mievo - but for the other people in MI, we have monthly meets and many events over the year (drag/track...). We are not to quiet either lots of good info and people.
