BTW, this Sunday is currently forecast to be mostly sunny with a high of 49 degrees. 10% (negligible) precipitation chance. This according to Weather.com, which I've found to be pretty accurate within 4-5 days... keep checking back.

 

It is set up as the first official RM Evo meet, but I do know that there will be some STi's coming and possible others, so I would say that it is up to you if you want to come.

 

It's just for RMEVO so that we can start building a local Evo presence. This is not a general meet, but we will certainly have those in the future. I'm a former DSM owner and long-time fan, but I don't want to round up a bunch of other cars and bring them in. A few may show up, but we really want to keep this Evo-specific so that we can all get to know each other without getting mixed up with other car owners.

Thanks for the reply. I'll forgo posting a general notice on the Eclipse boards, then. I'd still like to show personally to check out some EVOs, as I'd like to add elements of the EVO to my Eclipse... no objection to a single "observer"?

 

My objection to you as a single observer is inversely proportional to your desire to join and contribute to RMEVO.

Okay, point taken. I guess I'll be adding one more membership to my growing list of forums, then. For now, my contributions will likely be in the same vein as what I do for the local Eclipses. (I've helped facilitate and organize a few meets since joining last year.)
If I keep this up, I'll have no time left for Club3G's Off Topic!

Any Denver/Aurora Evos that would like to make it an all-day event, keep an eye out for a new Regional thread by yours truly (probably on evotuners.net, since there seems to be a larger contingent of locals there). I may yet stir up some interest for an afternoon/evening meet & cruise.
This one would include Eclipses and possibly even a Galant or two...

 

I would not be surprised if many of the RMEVO attendees were interested in participating in a cruise afterwards...

I would show up but it's too far just to hang out. My car is a gas hog since i got the cams installed and no tune yet. I can go through a tank in about 3 days. Closer towards denver next time.

It's only 15 mins from Denver, and if you are driving with cams and no tune, definitely get tuned then. JustDSM can hook you up in no time...

To clarify, the intent is in no way to race, speed or participate in illegal activities on public roads. This is a meet followed by a CRUISE I'm proposing. Plain and simple.
....It'd certainly be nice to hit some "twisties" at a fair clip, however.
