Illnois Meet Up
haha, my baby is keeping warm and clean in the garage... i took insurance off for the winter, but the galant ended up needing reconstructive surgery (crankshaft pully snapped in half, bent valves in head, replaced a lot of parts + thank you sunny and james!!!) the galant didnt move for awhile cause i didnt have time to deal with it and they took care of the issues for me. i had to put insurance back on the evo when that happened, and once the galant was up and running again the evo sits in the garage, saving me tons of insurance money, and worrys if some moron is going to slide into my car. i will probably put the insurance on this week if the weather starts making a turn...
I guess I'm gonna have to do a mini detail on my car prior to this
? Sometimes being a detailer isn't as fun in sub zero temps haha.

Hey so i looked at the weather...the 9th is looking promising, im pretty stoked about it. I just installed my harness bar!!! Im overly excited for it! Oh yea sekula you also wanted to do some 1st gear 10mph roll are something...right?

i just bought a lm-1 like 2 weeks ago for tuning... and if anythin... i would do 2nd gear rolls since my 1-2 and 3-4 are reallly f-ed up still, might need that tre rebuild sooner than i thought
and anyone goin to pulaski tonight????? cuz theres gonna be people there like couple weeks ago there was, lookin clear for tonight and not that cold....im headin up there soon....

yea, its gtslowr.....like it says above it, he's slow, i believe, just like i believe my evo is a 9 sec car right now...
but yea, actually nice turnout at pulaski tonight, just got back.... lots of hondas like usual, but also, evo, wrx's, sti, g35, dsms......gotta couple races, beat the sti every time, yay
, but my tranny prob made me win barely...
and on the way back, my bud eddy with a white evo, his name on here is lazyfong, calles me sayin his car wont move. lol, and im on the way back from pulaski, and i gotta help the brother out, so im like sure, ill come, and im with my buddy josh, who i knew is gonna figure out the prob right away, and i knew i would do all the work, so it'd be fine....turns out, his intercooler t-bolt clamp snapped(POS clamp) and we had to jack his car up in the middle of south side at 2 a.m. and workin on his car...fun times, and the cold weather made it awesome to work in!
cant wait for the friday meet comin up, im in such a race mood atm, so yea, cya guys all friday...

I'm going to try to make it out there for my first meet. We'll see cause I'll be driving back from Western Illinois and prolly have to visit people along the way. I definitely want to start coming. You guys make any other threads for Illinois?

Keep in mind, Rev limit is set at 8000rpm....Shifting is conservative at 7k rpm....Josh was filming this with his hand in the way so I didn't know how fast we were going until after....
