haha yea wow...so more of my goodies came in today..can't wait to get the car up and runnin this saturday and then install everything

at the track...we're not gonna talk about street racing for the 20th time...i don't want this thread closed for innappropriate content as i've seen other threads closed before...but anyways, yea, i say that on a saturday or sunday in a couple of weeks, we all meet at Great Lakes Dragaway....but i have to find a weekend available because there are many meets and bbq's comin up that i know people don't wanna miss

 

chill out bro, i read what the moderator said, i was just confused so i asked. street race is not a forbidon word, you just cant talk aout personal expierences and im not!! anyway im down for the track. someone set a date.

 

yea i'm not angry or anythin, just don't wanna get the moderator pissed off because they see that we're talkin about settin up a date for street racing....but anyway, yea, i'm gonnna check out some dates and get back to ya guys soon!

 

ok..so i checked the GLD website and for every saturday and sunday they have an event planned for most of May and June...so the best time to go with not a lot of people and mainly just us, would be on the weekday...and it's open from 5 pm - 10 pm and not a lot of people so we can get a lot of runs...so whos up maybe like in early/mid may to go like on a monday-friday in the evening?

 

Wouldnt it just be easier to run test and tune at Route 66 speedway on Tuesday nights? It does get busy, but if you take off work a few hours early and get there around 3 or so, its pretty much empty.

 

im down deffenetly, later in the day means colder weather , and my turbo loves cold weather

 

exactly, and GLD is not that busy, i mean in the opening weekend when i went there with a couple of my buddies, we were the only ones there with a couple of other cars, 10 cars tops!! So i say we go to GLD like on tuesday or wed. or wutever night and in may it'll be nice later in the day like 60º degrees so we'll basically have the track to ourselves!

 

so what bout May 8th guys? from 5pm-10pm....gives us about 3 weeks to get our cars ready, lol, which i need about 2-3 weeks...

You do know how difficult it is to get to Great Lakes Dragway on a weekday during rush hour, right? Not trying to rain on your parade, but it wont be fun...
