I am taking delivery of a blue EVO VIII late July from Metro in Bloomington, MN.

Any hints what to look for, ask for, beware of, while taking delivery?

A few things I can think of:

- make sure the spring spacers are removed
- the odometer should show less than 10 miles
- check for bubbles in the carbon fiber
- make sure the engine oil isn't overfilled from the factory
- tire pressure
- if possible, have the alignment checked

BTW, nice color choice. There are already too many blacks and silvers.

 

My better half picked the color Our second choice was silver, but we already have a silver truck in the garage...

What's a spring spacer and where do I look for it?

When you recive it let us know, that was actually my first color choice but ended up with red, i would really like to see it some time!
