New EVO owner here.

So I joined the ranks of a few others here...I'm a former WRX/STi owner that switched to the EVILution.

I sold my STi about a year ago due to financial reasons. I was daily driving my SE-R and the motor went on me. I needed a car and bought a Honda Fit. The Fit was a good car, but I really missed having a performance car. I had been researching EVOs and found this '06 EVO IX RS with only 1300 miles on it. It was unbelievably clean. I felt like I bought a BRAND NEW car. I actually was thinking about buying it from the original owner and he traded it in. I was in contact with the dealership he traded to and everything worked out after nearly 2 weeks of dealing by phone.

I'll post up some comparisons with other cars I've owned after I drive it more.

Some pics taken by someone with a good camera and skills.

I'll leave you with a few pics of some of my previous cars.

Patience my fellow EVO owner. I'm going to try and make it to the next AutoX July 8th at the MAC. I'll make sure I can get down to KC for at least one AutoX this summer as well. I have to make sure I've got the necessities before I do a track day. Factory stereo, alarm, VII tails oh and...brake pads/fluid.

You don't need VII tails on a IX imo. (enough acronyms there?)

IX's have the factory smoked rears, which I think the 05 MR's have as well. They look the best imo. I'm not a huge fan of VII tails personally on some colors.
