WW IX Needs EVO friends in STL

So yeah, I moved here from TX about 2 yrs ago, and was use to a very nice gathering of "car friends". I haven't found that here in STL yet. None of my current friends give 2 ****s about cars in general and they think my EVO looks funny "with that big wing and that hole on the hood"...It's getting old. Anyway, I get my car back from Adrenalin tomorrow, and I was hopping for some sort of gathering. I got the Works HFC, IP, ABM, clutch/ flywheel, and racing break extended wheel studs put on today and apparently tomorrow. I needed them for my Enkei NT03-M's (18x9.5 +27) I picked up a while back. Blah...So, anyone free?

Read through this...it will give you an idea how long it takes to get a meet in STL together.

There are some really cool evo owners here...but we tend to be an independent bunch with busy schedules. With patience and cajoling, you can get a small group together. Here's proof click here

You trust Adrenaline with ur car?

*remembers all the horror stories of them with evo's*

but STL isn't really car specific...We have car stuff multi times a week...You just have to know where to look. :-)

Wow that's a quick reply! Thanks for the links, I have been looking around the midwest board tonight and saw those post. I guess i never thought to look on here for people in STL. I guess that's kinda dumb on my part. Sooo, the Adrenaline comment is a little scary i'm not going to lie. I just didnt know where to go around here and I have seen maybe 2 EVO's since December when I got mine. It's an exhaust and clutch flywheel install, how hard is that...I would have done it myself if I was able to bring all my tools with me, and had a place to work on my car. Wish me luck I guess. Anything going on this weekend?

I'm always down for meeting people. Ross (spyderbite) and myself meet up a few times during the week.

I'm not sure who I'd trust in stl to put in a clutch. I'd probably ask Ron @ Axis, but I'm fortunate enough to know him personally. Anyways, lemme know how they do. I think others have used speed and sound in SoCo?

I goto AMS for all my Ecu tuning needs; and nowhere else. Only 300 miles to argueably the best shop in the land imo.

Anyways, there's the redline event @ gateway in 2 weeks. Hafta come out to that, should be a really good showing of not only Evo's but of high performance cars in general! Other than that, it's difficult to find time for a meet; yep!

Clutch in install on our cars are a *****...and i've known 3-4 ppl who lost their trannies due to Adrenalines installs...I never liked them, for their knowledge, mechanical ability on our cars, and their attitudes...Clutch wise in STL NO ONE...exhaust you can do yourself in an hour or less. Anything else go to HTP and ask for Matt.
