Angry Chicago Body Shops? Other Advice?

I was rear-ended today at low speed by an SUV and now my previously-perfect USDM bumper has a small gash in it from their license plate and it looks like someone took sandpaper to the top quarter of the bumper where the bumpers made contact (both of which the officer who took the report refused to note as "visible damage" in the report ). I'm kind of generally bummed about this since I've put so much effort into keeping the car in good condition, and all it took was one oblivious, irresponsible idiot to mess it all up.

Now I'm kind of worried about the crash beam behind it (to see if it was bent/damager, etc...) and I want to get it fixed (don't know if I'll need a new bumper).

If anyone with State Farm has experience with a good body shop in the Chicagoland area or the suburbs, I'd appreciate references. I just don't want to take it to a shop where they'll take my car for a joyride (especially after reading all the stories about that here).

BTW I did search, I was just wondering about people who are covered under State Farm in particular.

Thanks for the reply. I'm just curious to see where people would take their cars since I imagine everyone else is concerned about their cars being abused as well.

I seriously need to get a wingless trunk so and a big (removable) sticker that says "This car is slow as hell" so people might start driving a safe distance from the back of the car.

I took my previous car to GoldCoast Autobody. State Farm approved and they do good work.

Thanks for all the replies! Really thinking of taking it to Gold Coast - haven't really had the time to do much about it lately.
