hey everyone...

w/ my evo being 2yrs old, the wing's clear coat is starting to yellow a little bit...so my q's to my fellow locals are...

1) recoating...does anyone know a spot where i can get a solid job?
2) from reading another post - if it's under warranty, it'll get replaced by a IX wing?

If anyone local can shed some light on these issues I'd gladly appreciate it...

 

dont get the 9 wing, they are not all carbon fiber like the 8 is.
just go to a body shop that is working on nice cars, tell them what you want.
it should not cost more than $50.00-$75.00

 

c'mon no one local has had this problem?

 

had my spoiler replaced under 3/36 warranty due to clear coat
peeling. They even asked if I wanted the VIII or IV wing! I chose to stick with the VIII

 

yea just go to mistubishi and take it in. its under 3 years or 36 months. they just ask or will say we might not have the eight wing and just say i want the 8 and will only take it. they have them dont worry replaced for free. otherwise i think the wings are 1200-1400 from mistu.

 

I'm in the same dilema right now. I just submitted a claim and voiced that I either want the VIII wing new or send my in to get refinished if VIII wings are unavailable. Hopefully I'll hear something within a week.
