no dude its a saturday!........But anyone considering this dont get the wrong idea by the title.....high speed autocross....

This is not a PARKING LOT and there are NO CONES..... This is really a local series of time attack events. Basically you get three 4 lap sessions to feel out the track. Then after lunch and after they check the track out, the timed runs begin. How the timed runs work are not like regular time attacks, this were the fundamentals of autocross come it.

You approach the line, the guy in the tower will notify to watch the light once you are staged. When the light turns green.....go like hell! You have 30' feet to accelerate befor they start timing your run. These runs are all or nothing, from the dead start you have one lap around and once you cross the line its over. Half a lap cool down and your off.

Its pretty hard core cause you cant really make many mistakes as is you dont have a 3 lap session with heat up and cool down like in other events. Usually 4 timed runs and its pretty cheap. Ranges from $100 to $150 depending if you are a member of one of the midwestern councils sports car clubs.....

Only other thing is how many mods do you have? Casue they will add points and place you in the according class. So if ya gots lots of mods they may require a harness!

According to the online registration form, it's the south course. I'm definitely looking forward to this.
