The only Mitsu place local to you is Jon Murdock on Rt 24 in front of the mall past k-mart. Unless things have changed since I left Ft Riley in 2006, there isn't anyone I know of locally that I would recommend touch the Evo.

Lancerisbling, what unit where you with? How is/was the local scene out there? People still gather out in front of Salvation Army in JC?

 

A Co 1/41 IN. I kinda drifted away from the scene a little bit after I got my Evo. I had a 97 mirage and was with Unique Phantasiez (former Royalty). A few AWD and Cobra guys get together and cruise from time to time. I'm sure the rest do the same ol thing. A couple groups had some heat on them for street racing on the back roads of Manhatten.

STFU... you were in Unique? So was I, back in like '02-'03. I didn't even know they were still around. Is the website still up? If you ever saw old pics, I had the white (LMAO) Neon.

1/41... that's awesome. I was in HHC 3BCT. I had a lot of friends in 1/41. I actually volunteered to move over to 1/41 because they needed an NCO in the 2 section. They ended up getting someone in though.

I only raced out in Manhattan once... wasn't my fav place to do it since there weren't too many places and there were more cops. We used to go out of JC on 6th street all the way out into the middle of nowhere. We would race for hours on end with no cop trouble.

Also, the back gate to post by the training area was an excellent spot. The few people that lived there would sit on their porches and cheer us on. It was great.

Too bad I was a ricer back then until I got back from Iraq and bought my first DSM.
