December 23rd: Chicagoland Enthusiasts Cruise!
I don't think this has been posted here yet and just wanted to pass the word along from the MR2 boards! I won't be able to make it with my 2 since it's in storage for the winter, but I might tag along with someone else!
Hope some of you get out to this big event!
originated this cruise for the Illinoiseuro website and i really want this one to be huge!!!
Start time 10 am
Starting Point:
400 E Monroe St. Chicago, IL
Pull into the Chicago Yacht Club Entrance Circle
From there we will make our way north. We wont be spending too much time in the city because of traffic. This cruise is a good one guys.
estimated cruise distance should be around 50 miles... i will make sure next weekend. ( will include about 4 stops to gather everyone and take some pics)
should be a big variety of cars! posted on

i'm going, i helped to plan and map this out actually, it's gonna be really fun!
people are going snow or no snow, even the E30 guys so i'm sure the evo's can handle it

hey guys i originated this cruise... I am under my buddies screename....
UPDATE: After talking to the Chicago Park District for 2 weeks i got a what i wanted for a small price.
****NEW STARTING LOCATION****
NORTH AVE BEACH PARKING LOT
Just east of Lake Shore Drive and Lasalle Ave.
each car must pay a $6 entrance fee. Not only is it a big lot, this is now legal...
we have this lot from 9:20 to 10:20
Note: people that posted this on other forums... Please update the other forums....
The cruise starts there and will end at the Glen. ( top floor of parking garage)
I dont think racing will be a problem since most of these streets will be curvy....
