Illinois Emission Testing

Have a 2003 Evo, just with turboback with WORKS hi flow cat. Initially threw an SES light after a few weeks of having it and then was code free for some time until the last few months when the light has been on consistently. I just had the light reset and is not on right now but need to get emissions done as it is already over do and i got an extension since i was out of state for some time. Do you think it will pass becuase as of now i do not have an O2 fix or anything. thanks.

As long as you don't have an SES light and the sensor can respond that its in a ready state you will be fine.

After your car is reset you should put a hundred fifty or so miles on it prior to going in to get tested otherwise you may not pass the inspection because you haven't put enough miles on the car .
