Ok went to 2 shops the past 2 days. One shop they barely spoke english and they are a clifford dealer. The other shop they try to sell me on this one alarm system and fed me a lot of bull****. Man where are the good places at? Please help a fella out.

 

I used to live in Chicago back in 97-98. I am sure a lot has changed since then, but I would say try going up around the Waukeegan area, near the Navy base. Lots of the guys used to take their cars out there and have audio work. From what I saw, the strip between Waukeegan and Gurnee had quite a few shops like that. Some of them seemed pretty damn good and fair priced.
