ok guys i'm looking to get mellon up to OMAHA to tune my car.. i jsut need four other cars with me to get him up here.. it'd be in mid-late feb. when he'll come.. .. so if anyone is interested pm me so i know.. please if u decide to do it dont back down with this.. let me know whos in..

Or drive a couple hours south and get a custom dyno tune.

 

i think i am goin to come down this year, have you dyno my current tune and see if you can get any better numbers outta it...i really dont know you but know you use some of jakes maps, and his maps were $hit on my car. had 20+ counts of knock... but i will make a trip down and visit for sure

not to knock jake or his tuning, but the rumor of me using his maps is completely false as I use my own. I may use one of my maps or parameters from the map where the mods are damn near identical or close but the car is custom tuned from there for your car and its setup.

thats fine, he had told via email that you "use" his maps...by use maybe he ment using the parameters and i just i confuesed it. but i will be making a trip down, i heard good things from some of the dsm guys that came down from omaha

Not really, he completely fell out of the scene besides the auto-x stuff he does.

My evo's going good, need some final touches here and there....main thing I want is my stock final drive back so I'll be tearing it apart again to send the tranny back to TRE for the change.

 

why you want the stock final back? do you daily it? i have a built shep tranny and i went with the stock final but was almost wanting the short 5th. but i daily mine so thats why i left it stock

 

I got mine built when the new thing was the 3.84 FD from TRE, before the 4.11 was available as that FD is from HKS Kansai actually. So I'm gonna go back to stock as the thing is just a PIA to even get moving from a stand still.
