i have a car on order at biggers mitsubishi in elgin, chicago area. a month ago they were expecting a mid august shipment and mine was in that. saturday my dealer over there calls and says 1-2 weeks. not that im mad its coming sooner, just wondering have they been accurate so far as to when shipments came??? im not talking about just this location, but in general. also how long does it take the cars to get trucked to midwest once they port out west?? thanks.

umm, color is silver and im getting quite a good deal over there. how this is relevant i dont know but i see you are from michigan and i cant go there to buy a car. plus i dont want one on the lot. im guaranteed 2-3 miles on mine and im getting a call the second its off the truck. just want to know how timely they have been getting them to the lots when they say 1-2 weeks.

 

I was there Saturday and they had 2 Evos there - Red and Black. I didn't buy from them cuz both Evos didn't have the CF wing so I went to Max Madsen in Aurora and bought my Rally Red Evo there. MSRP baby! It was just a baby when I got it! 22 miles! Been driving mine since!

highrev glad to hear you finally got yours. as i said im getting a good deal over there, meaning under MSRP. like, a lot under. im a referral of a huge customer and hes hooking me up a bit more cause im law enforcement. it will be silver with wing and moonroon adn saturday he said 1-2 weeks. hopefully its here on time, im already tired of waiting. take it easy.

 

highrev how many miles on your rally red when you got it??? just curious, he told me mine will have less than 5-10 when i pick it up. 2-3 when they get it and 2-3 for PDI.

 

i have a white one with no sunroof on order at fox mitsu in grand rapids, MI. and my original ship date was 5/20!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!on 6/26 they put me in a new diamante as a loaner...but, im still waiting. on 7/9 i was told by mitsu corporate in CA. that my car was being released from port on the west coast and i should see it in 10-14 days. should be here any day, right?????

 

Mine took 1 week to arrive from Japan, max madsen in countryside. Oh yeah it silver. Silver seems to be real popular i guess.

 

My car had 22 miles on it when I got it Saturday. I have over 500 now. Still breaking it in.

 

why did your car have so many miles on it. should only have between 4-8 miles on it.

 

Maybe the dealer had custies test drive it? Mine had 4 miles too.

I wondered about the mileage too, but 22 miles isn't anything serious. If it had like 100 miles I'd be somewhat skeptical, but nonetheless the car runs great. Plus, I figured the Evo that I got was probably ordered from another dealer so they had to drive it out there or something. I'm not complaining though. I have my Evo and that is what matters to me at all right now.

 

dealerships make trades all the time....they drive an evo from one dealer to the next...thats all

 

my car was brought in from across the country. they gave me a maximum delivery time of 1 month and it only took 2 weeks.

My car had 8 K on it when I got it. The guys went to put a full tank of gas in it for me.
