Does anyone know a good place to get my windshield replaced at? Preferably in the northwest suburbs (live in Hoffman Estates). All the places I've checked out are quoting me $500 or so.

 

Now I know I am not where you are but don't be fooled by the glass places. I got a windsheild for 279, brand new. The I hit something on the highway and needed another one within 9 months and I found the reciept for the first one I bought and called them up and asked for a quote and they said 500 something and i asked them why then I bought one off them no more than a 9 months prior for 279 and she put me on hold and spoke to her manage and I go another one for that same price. Just use the same line I did, except I was telling the truth. I think it was through safelite also. but that was all done here in Colorado, not where u are.

Duh I did say why.. I er..ah..er..ah hit something on the highway. That is what the wife thinks and we will keep that way until I go to my grave.
