The Honda thing is more of an inside joke but considering how old your GS-Sex is (1991), that's pretty normal. I mean, lets be honest, what do you expect from an 18 year old car? Even Honda Civics newer than that (Eg: 1994) have had blown head gaskets, broken CV joints, torn CV boots all in stock trim ... Its exactly the reason why people buy new cars

By the way may I recommend the Honda Fit, its a killer Chic magnet
Or I could totally see you driving a Smart Car

Hopefully Honda/Toyota/whomever starts making more vehicles like the Honda Insight that get 60+ MPG on the highway. The Honda Civic Hybrid's gas mileage is nice. A vehicle that gets 50+ is what I hope to make my next daily driver. Or a Mini Cooper S that has the same gas mileage as my '94 Honda Civic but is still a competitive sports car.

yeah even if a hybrid has good gas mileage still has to look good.. i would get a car that looks nice with 35mpg over a crappy looking car that gets 55mpg..

just me!

Come on, suggesting I drive a Honda is like asking me to wear a bra. It's not going to happen.

Seriously, I'm selling the GSX for certain in a couple of weeks. It cost me another $1k to fix this time, but it's driving like a new car again. It looks like the Evo will become my daily driver.

I won't be at the meet, I have a race the next day so I'll probably be finishing up some work on the car.

Oh boy...here we go again.

I'm looking to replace my '91 SE-R for a better DD. I probably won't make a move until the end of summer though. I was just recently looking at a '00 2.5RS coupe, but it had too many issues and the guy wouldn't come down on price. I'll probably consider an 03-05 Forester (my co-workers think it's an "old man's car") or a Honda of some sort that gets good gas mileage and has a good safety rating. We'll see.

I'm going to try and make this meet, but I need to get the day off first. I'll keep you guys posted.

Oh and I can't wait to see/drive the 135i. I just wish it wasn't so heavy.

I know you're probably going to the RallyX, but for you others who might be interested...the first KC AutoX is March 16th. I haven't decided if I will go yet. It really depends on the weather forecast. I don't like rainy AutoXing.

I don't think I'll make this one, my wifes having a b-day party later that afternoon and I don't think she would like it if I left for a few hours to go to omaha.
maybe next-time.

Small meet, decent weather. Next meet will be a barbeque picnic @ one of the parks in order to celebrate the arrival of nicer weather
