Saturday April 12th @ 11am, Dairy Queen 132nd & Maple St (they have a HUGE parking lot adjacent to Super Target.

I'm organizing a general AWD meet here in Omaha. I originally posted on the local Subaru club website and the feedback there was pretty good. It might be fun to get a group of AWD enthusiasts together from all shades of metal. Spread the word.

Hopefully I'll be there. The weather is going to suck though...

 

The turnout was very good. Mostly Subarus. We did have 3 VIII/IXs show up and 1 very new X. It would've been nice to have a better EVO showing. Oh well...maybe most of you are fair weather fans.

We had a good time. It was cool to see so many cars show up...despite the crappy weather. I snapped a few pics. Sorry I didn't get any of the entire group. I'm sure the guy with the SLR will post his MUCH better pics than mine. I'll update this thread if/when I see his pics (Subaru guy).

The reason I was late to the meet...my good friend just picked this beast up today!



His X and my beater 2.5 RS coupe (that X was so cool to look at in my rearview mirror on the way to the meet...that shark mouth screams move out of my way or be eaten!!!)



I took a lot of GTiR pics. Sorry...I'm obsessed with it. I was lucky enough to drive it. If I only had the garage space and money.
